MACET - Eco club organises activities related to Biodiversity Conservation, Water Conservation, Energy Conservation, Waste Management and Land Use Planning and Resource Management by involving in data gathering and analysis, research, field projects, advocacy, and education. The club takes effort to influence, encourage and assist any initiative to conserve nature and to ensure that use of natural resources is equitable and ecologically sustainable. Also, it takes effort to attract public attention and support for an environmental cause or environmental intervention. Furthermore the club strives to promote a sense of environmental discipline and environmental responsibility among campus staff and student community.

Objectives

• To create awareness on environment issues like pollution, global warming etc. through expert discussion sessions.
• To create awareness on biodiversity conservation and bio energy production.
• To inculcate a green attitude among students and general public.
• To arrange outdoor visits for faculty and students to eco sites.
• To take efforts to maintain the college campus as a green campus
